April 15 Hello everybody. This is the newsletter which until recently I never thought I'd send, but the time has come and the end of Lounge for Judi and I is nigh. Handover date is the 3rd of May some 3 weeks away. Lounge has been sold and now it is time for some new energy, ideas and personality to take it on to the next stage, whatever or wherever that may be. The new owner is Petra Watkinson, Petra has ideas and personality to burn and we wish her well. Petra is a local Carterton person and knows, and is known by this community well. Petra has indicated that the basic format of Lounge will not change significantly but that she has some plans. Of course Lounge will be a little different, but change is good and I feel very confident that the changes Petra may bring along will only serve to grow Lounge and embed it even deeper in the community that is Carterton.

Last Party.... We are planning to make the weekend of 30 April, 1 and 2 May a big weekend but plans are a little misty thus far so watch this space for details.
